President Scent

Want to smell like Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama or even John McCain? It is appears a West Virginian woman has developed 3 fragrances for the three front runners. I am sure you are wondering what the candidates smell like.

Well according to April Cline the scents creator. "Her (Hillary) scent is strong and clean, a delicate floral blend of jasmine, violet, rose and sheerest musk. Barack's scent is a “clean citrusy note of bergamot and musk and John McCain's scent is notes of bergamot, water lily and lavender woven with cool greens and frosty musk." She hopes that the candidates will get wind of her designer fragrances and give them a try.

Each of her products costs $25, plus $5 shipping. Visitors to her Web site — http://www.presidentialperfume.com/ — can also check to see which fragrance is selling the most.

Not exactly the way I would describe a fragrance note...

I was scouring the news for interesting stories when I came accross the story from The Star.
I am always asked to describe a fragrance or fragrance note, but I am sure I would not have used the following about Tonquin Musk.

A new use for cologne

Just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier. Here is a story about a new way to use cologne.
Akron police say a robbery attempt had more than a whiff of failure. They accuse a man of trying to stick two people up outside a video store with a bottle of cologne that had been colored black with a marking pen and resembled a gun.
Police Lt. Rick Edwards says there was a scuffle, and the bottle broke, so the suspect stank of cologne when officers arrived on the scene early Wednesday evening.
